The 5th Cultural Informatics, Communication, and Media Studies Conference to be held in cooperation with the CIU Faculty of Communication

The Cyprus International University (CIU), in collaboration with Erciyes University and Aydın Adnan Menderes Universities, will jointly host the “5th Cultural Informatics, Communication, and Media Studies” conference, to be held during 16-17-18 May, 2022.

At the conference where the Chairman of the Radio and Television Supreme Council Ebubekir Şahin will perform an opening speech, Prof. Dr. Renee Hobes of The University of Rhode Island and Prof. Dr. Bilgehan Gültekin of Ege University, will both attend as invited speakers.

Interested academicians and researchers have till 1st November 2021 to apply for the conference, which will bring together academicians working in different disciplines across the fields of communications and cultural informatics.

The conference which will be held face-to-face at the Erciyes University in Kayseri will see presentations in both the English and Turkish Languages.

CIU Faculty of Communication Dean Prof. Dr. Hikmet Seçim, who is also a Scientific Committee Member of the conference, stated that academicians and researchers may participate in the conference with works upon the following subjects; Cultural Informatics, Communication, Tourism, Media Studies, Radio, Television, Cinema, Advertising, Public Relations, Economy, Management, Political Communication, Human Resources, Social Media, Photography, New Media, Communication in Education, Communication in Distance Leaning, Ethics in Communication, Health Communication, Digital Competencies and Digital Literacy, Fine Arts, and Communication and Media Studies.
