About the Department
Business Administration Program educates students to become successful individuals who can contribute to the development of the country; adapt to the competitive environment; have an analytical and observer frame of mind; are equipped with the required professional knowledge and skills; and have good communication skills. The program makes a major contribution to the business world by raising students with the qualities that will provide them with the ability to shape their future by understanding the general process mechanisms of businesses. Students choose this program in order to be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills in the areas of economy, society and technology and start their professional lives one-step ahead.
Accreditations
Business Program's international quality assurance standards was evaluated by the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) until 2027, and accredited. Educational activities continue as follows as approved by FIBAA, in the program whose accreditation certificate is up-to-date and valid.
Education Opportunities
The curriculum has been prepared by considering the effects of economic, social and technological developments in businesses. In this context, the students are taught micro and macro economy formation and learn to recognize the behavioral sciences related to individuals and society. Students learn the processes of production, marketing, finance, human resources, accounting, research and development and public relations, and how they apply to businesses and the strategies practiced in these areas. Courses are taught in English, and students also have the option to take elective language courses such as German, French, Italian and Russian, allowing them to receive preference in the environment of global competition. In addition to theoretical knowledge, the program provides students with the opportunity to assimilate topics better, by giving examples from daily events through organizing talks by successful managers and business entrepreneurs or arranging company visits. The academic staff makes special use of the most up-to-date information and communication technologies.
Career Areas
With the continuously updated course content and course books, along with the accreditation provided, students start their professional lives as competent individuals who know the concepts and the running of modern businesses and can think strategically. This knowledge and experience provides students with increasing their opportunities in several fundamental disciplines such as marketing, banking, finance, accounting, operational/production management and management and organization field at the micro, mezzo and macro level of businesses. Therefore students receive transdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary education from the programme and are able to adapt to the digital age industries.
It is possible for students to continue their education by pursuing a Master and Doctorate degree, becoming part of the academic staff. The students benefit from not only the academic but also the practical information provided in the program, so they can use the information in that sector or elsewhere in their academic lives.

TR Students who are successful in the exams conducted by the Higher Education Council Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) and are entitled to enroll in our university in line with their preferences can complete the registration process with the necessary documents for registration from our Registration and Liaison Offices throughout Turkey or from the Marketing Directorate on campus.

TRNC Applicants
TRNC citizens and TR citizen candidate students who have completed their entire high school education in TRNC. They are placed in undergraduate programs in line with their success in the CIU Student Placement and Scholarship Ranking Exam and the programs they prefer.
Students who are successful in the exam can register from the TRNC Marketing Office.
Applicants can directly apply online to our undergraduate programs using the application portal. Please fill in your details correctly and upload all the required documents listed on the last page of the application form.
Required documents;
- Completed application form,
- Higher/Secondary Certificate or equivalents (e.g. O/A’Level, WAEC/NECO),
- Evidence of English Language competence: TOEFL (65 IBT) or IELTS (5.5). Students without these documents will take the CIU English proficiency exam on campus following arrival,
- Scanned copy of international passport/birth certificate,
- Fully completed and signed CIU Rules and Regulations document (which can be downloaded during the online application).
Cyprus International University provides academic scholarships for its students as an incentive for success, with most students benefiting from 50%, 75% or 100% scholarships or discounted tuition fees. Click for more information.
Tuition Fees are determined at the beginning of each academic year. Candidate students who are entitled to enroll in CIU can learn their fees in line with the Tuition Fee Calculation system.
