Scientific Publication Incentive Award Ceremony

Within the scope of the "Academic Promotions and Scientific Publication Incentive Award Ceremony" organized by Cyprus International University (CIU), academics were recognized for their contributions to science with their research and the academic world with their teaching.
Reminding that scientific research is an integral part of university culture, CIU Rector Prof. Dr. Halil Nadiri said that it is necessary to invest in quality in order to compete and be successful in the field of higher education.
Nadiri stated that, at CIU, they are constantly working as an institution to further improve and develop their standards, and that they provide both students and academics with the opportunity to conduct qualified scientific research in their fields of expertise with the renewed laboratory facilities as well as the well-established research centers the university is constantly supportive of.
Stating that the scientific and research developments at the university in recent years have made CIU one of the important higher education institutions of the region, Nadiri said, "For example, in 2023, our number of publications in scientific journals scanned in Scopus, one of the most respected indexes in the world, have increased considerably."
In his speech, Nadiri stated that the Scientific Publication Incentive Award Ceremony has now become a tradition and said that their aim is to encourage scientific research and international publications and to introduce successful researchers within the university.

Stating that Academic Promotion Certificates will be presented during the ceremony to his colleagues who received academic promotions, Nadiri said, "I congratulate all of you for getting published in universally recognized journals and your contributions to science and humanity."
The ceremony ended with the presentation of Scientific Publication Incentive Awards and Academic Promotion Certificates to CIU academicians.
