Emiroğlu lectured at the TBF Manager Training Seminar

Assist. Prof. Dr. Osman Emiroğlu served as an instructor at the Manager Training Seminar organized by Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) 

Asst. Prof. Dr. Osman Emiroğlu Dean of Students and Faculty Member in the Faculty of Educational Sciences of Cyprus International University (CIU) served as an instructor at the 3rd  Basketball Manager Development Seminar.

The 3rd  Basketball Manager Development Seminar which is included in the 2023 activity program of the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) was held between  September 30th  and  October 1st 2023.

The seminar that Emiroğlu took part in as an instructor was attended by  Managers who are candidates to work in professional and youth leagues. 

Providing information to manager candidates about the Principles of Governance in Sports, Emiroğlu had the opportunity to convey theoretical information to the participants as well as areas where these could be applied. 

In his speech, Emiroğlu stated that management in sports is a modern system and is extremely an important approach as it entails success. Thanks to the participatory managerial approach that includes all the stakeholders in sports, Emiroğlu said  the interest in sports and particularly in basketball will increase. 

At the end of the seminar, a scientific learning medium was offered to the participants where they could share their questions and opinions. The managers who attended the seminar were from many regions of Turkey who will work in various fields and positions in basketball. 

Emiroğlu said that he was very happy to participate as a trainer in the seminar which is an indicator of the importance that the Turkish Basketball Federation attaches to scientific education which has been increasing intensely especially in recent years, and noted that both online and face-to-face trainings are very important for senior manager development.
