“Compulsory Coaching Seminar" at CIU

Cyprus International University (CIU) hosted the first "Compulsory Coaching Seminar"  for the 2023-2024 season. 

The seminar was held in 4 sessions at CIU Arena, where participants learned theoretical information in the morning sessions and in the afternoon sessions, they  put into practice what they have already learned.  

TRNC Handball Federation Board of Education Chairman Ömer Bozkurt stated that they have held coach development seminars for the 2023-2024 season and said, "The seminar we are organizing will act as a visa to enable our coaches to work  actively in this season."

While the participants were informed about theoretical issues in the morning sessions of the development seminars, they worked with the coaches in the afternoon sessions to put theory into practice. 

In his statement, CIU Arena Sports Coordinator Tarkan Kayaş expressed his satisfaction in hosting such an organization.

Kayaş stated that as a university, they are not only at the service of CIU students but also actively participate in all kinds of sports activities organized in the country.

Noting that they received instructor support from the School of Physical Education and Sports within the scope of the seminar, Kayaş stated that they are ready to render all the support they can to similar seminars that all the federations will organize in the future.
