CIU SPES applied for the second time level determination tests upon Cihangir Youth Sports Club Football players
Cyprus International University (CIU) School of Physical Education and Sports (SPES), for the second time, applied area and laboratory tests to the Cihangir Youth Sports Club Team football players, in an effort to decipher their pre-conditional trait levels before the season begins. The tests in question were applied to the areas of strength, endurance, flexibility, speed, and mobility.
The tests were carried out at the CIU Sports Complex Arena, under the observation of the School of Physical Education and Sports Director, Prof. Dr. Ali Emre Erol, and applied by Specialist Physiotherapist Sema Özden, Dr. Sonay Dericioğlu, and Specialist Physiotherapist Sergen Summakoğulları, of differing disciplines.
The training programs prepared in accordance with the data from the first measurements will be re-updated by the CIU SPES Expert Training Scientists
Informing that the tests will be repeated in 6-to-8-week periods, School Director Prof. Dr. Ali Emre Erol went on to state, “In line with the results of the second stage performance tests, updates will be made to the training programs in addition to functional training methods being applied to the athletes".
Stating that in the field of sporting performance, as SPES, they will continue to provide similar services, Erol explained that they will continue to assist in acquiring current and more functional habits throughout the country for academic and practical purposes and that this and similar applications will increase the experience and skills of the school’s academic team.
Speaking in relation to the 2021-2022 season, Erol wished for this season to be successful and healthy for the individual and team competitors in all branches.
