CIU is getting ready for digital graduation ceremony

Cyprus International University (CIU) 2019-2020 Academic Year Spring semester graduation ceremony is taking place in a digital environment in line with the COVID-19 outbreak measures taken by the TRNC Council of Ministers. It was announced by the CIU Public Relations and Corporate Communications Directorate (PRCCD) that the digital graduation ceremony will be broadcasted on the CIU Official YouTube Page on July 4, 2020, at 10.30.

Over 2,000 graduate candidates
CIU is getting ready to graduate more than 2 thousand students at the 2019-2020 Academic Year Spring semester graduation ceremony. CIU hosts almost 19 thousand students from 110 different countries in 10 faculties and 8 schools at associate degree, undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, and doctorate programs.

Ceremony broadcast stream
It was mentioned that the ceremony will start with the opening speeches of the presenters and the presentation of the program, and it will continue with The National Anthem, the speeches of the students on behalf of the alumni, the Rector's speech, the speech of the TRNC Minister of National Education and Culture, the Deans’ / Directors' messages to the alumni, calling out the names of the graduate candidates, the farewell message to the alumni and conclude with the symbolic convocation ceremony.
