3 different program accreditations from EPDAD

Cyprus International University (CIU) Faculty of Education Guidance and Psychological Counseling, Pre-school Teacher Education, and English Language Teaching Undergraduate Programs crowned the quality of the education they offer with the 3-year accreditation awarded by the "Teaching Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association (EPDAD)".

Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim Yalın: “We are proud”
The Dean of the CIU Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim Yalın stated that EPDAD evaluation committee's "Undergraduate Programs" assessment was based on seven physical standard areas as "Planning, Implementation and Assessment of Teaching", "Quality and Qualification of Teaching Staff", "Effectiveness of Students to Achieve Professional Competencies", "Effectiveness of Faculty-School Cooperation", "Physical Infrastructure" and “Management” and “Quality Assurance”. Yalın expressed that they are proud to receive 3 years of accreditation at the end of the evaluation process.

“Faculty is Being Decisive about Preferences…”
Stating that they carried out intensive work in collaboration with university management, faculty, students, and other stakeholders throughout the accreditation process, Yalın said that their efforts yielded results, and the Guidance and Psychological Counseling, Pre-school Teacher Education and English Language Teaching Undergraduate Programs were accredited in May 2020.

Prof. Dr. Yalın mentioned that the educational qualities of these undergraduate programs of the CIU Faculty of Education are registered with EPDAD accreditation. Yalın also expressed that he believes that the accreditation received by EPDAD will be a determining factor for the faculty preferences of the prospective students.
