CIU and Düzce University Sign Academic Protocol

A protocol has been signed between Cyprus International University (CIU) and Düzce University to develop cooperation in academic, scientific and cultural fields. The protocol, signed on October 15, 2025, by Düzce University Rector Prof. Dr. Nedim Sözbir and Cyprus International University Rector Prof. Dr. Erbuğ Çelebi. This protocol, signed between the two universities, aims for the parties to work in mutual understanding and cooperation within the framework of their common areas of interest. 

Within the scope of the cooperation protocol, activities are planned in many areas such as conducting joint scientific research, exchange programs between faculty members, researchers and students, organizing conferences, symposiums, workshops and similar scientific events, sharing laboratories, materials and data, education and training collaborations at the master's and doctoral levels, and the development of educational technologies and methods. 

The protocol also aims to enable the academic staff of the two universities to mutually exchange academic views, work together on joint projects, and contribute to the enhancement of their scientific production capacities. The protocol, which will remain in force for five years, will be automatically renewed for one-year periods unless any of the parties provide written notice.
